Our CEO Mary McLuskey has been recognised in the Resource Magazine’s ‘Hot 100’ of key movers and shakers in the waste and recycling industry.
Still completing her first year as CEO of CRNS, Mary has entered at number 46 for ‘bringing a renewed focus to the reuse, repair and recycling sector in Scotland’.
The Hot 100, compiled annually by Resource Magazine, is packed with the top influencers from government, local authorities, the community sector, academia and industry as well as campaigners, all delivering change to help the UK move towards a resource efficient economy.
Commenting on the Top 100, Mary McLuskey said: ‘CRNS is a membership organisation and I’m really proud of our work that is bringing a renewed focus to the reuse, repair and recycling sector. Thousands of people vote in Resource’s annual Hot 100 list of the most influential people in the industry and it is an honour to be recognised. Congratulations to Rachelle Strauss, blogger at My Zero Waste for achieving the number one spot. Only filling one bin in an entire year is an incredible feat and she is definitely one of the brightest sparks in the resources industry.’
