FINANCIAL CAPABILITY OFFICER x 1.2FTE posts
Salary £17,934 – £19,565
(Fixed term contract until 31 March 2017)
NB the 1.2 FTE posts could be 1FTE and 1 full time plus 1 x 0.2 posts or permutations thereof.
CFINE will employ the FCO posts but the position will provide services for and with partners from AHEAD and the FBPA. AHEAD partners are Grampian Housing Association, North East Scotland Credit Union, Pathways and CFINE.
CFINE seeks to appoint 1.2FTE Financial Capability Officers, to join a further FCO 0.8FTE post; the 2posts are funded by the Scottish Government’s People and Communities Fund and the Fairer Aberdeen Fund.
The FCO’s will be based in CFINE’s offices, 2-14 Poynernook Road, Aberdeen and will provide financial health-checks and budgeting advice, including welfare benefits advice, to beneficiaries in various settings.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of a range of financial inclusion issues and welfare benefits as well as the ability to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts. Place on the salary scale commensurate with experience. This post will be subject to a Basic Disclosure Scotland record check.
