Beach cleaning Re-JIG is a not for profit organisation with a charitable status. It was formed in 1999 to address waste and recycling issues on the Isles of Islay & Jura. Re-JIG’s work undertakes a wide range of waste & recycling activities. We work with schools, the general public, local community recycling groups and businesses.

The average UK household creates 600kg of waste every year. Waste is expensive to dispose of and there are better options than just landfilling it. We all have a part to play.

Re-JIG won the CRNS Innovation Award 2006 for its Bio-diesel project.
