We’re proud supporters of national Go Green Week. Organised by People and Planet the week focuses on climate change and options for greener alternatives!
‘CRNS strongly believes in the principals of no waste, only resources, so we are delighted to support national Go Green Week,’ says Mary McLuskey, CEO of CRNS. ‘Greener alternatives is the way to go and involving children and students will make a massive difference to our future. For example one of the biggest problems to occur in recycling is when incorrect items are put in the recycling bins. It can slow down the whole process or even clog and damage machinery and other equipment. Something as simple as teaching how to separate different items and materials for recycling can make all the difference.’
People and Planet has suggested a whole host of activities that you can get involved in during the week. And this year Go Green Week coincides with the first Global Divestment Day of Action, which will take place on 13 February 2015. To find out more and download a pack visit PEOPLE AND PLANET.
