CRNS is seeking to recruit a dynamic, skilled and experienced professional to the exciting and challenging role of Reuse Consortium Coordinator.
The Reuse Consortium is an innovative and award winning project set up by CRNS in 2016. The Consortium was recognised by both Social Enterprise Scotland and the Chartered Institute of Waste Management in their 2017 awards. Since inception, the Consortium has adopted a ground-breaking approach to enable second hand furniture to be used in over 2,700 homes preventing that furniture going to landfill.
We are not just looking to maintain the Consortium but to grow it significantly over the next 15 months. Ambitious targets have been set. Consequently, we are looking for an experienced professional who is a proactive and motivated self-starter with a strong track record meeting stretched targets.
The successful candidate will have strong project management, communication, interpersonal, organisational and IT skills. In addition, the candidate will work well under pressure and be able to resolve conflict positively and professionally. Experience in business and strategic planning, fundraising and knowledge of the waste and resources sector are desirable.
CRNS is a national membership organisation that represents recycling and re-use organisations across Scotland on issues of sustainable community resource management. Most members of CRNS are social enterprises managing waste resources at a local level through recycling, re-use, composting, waste reduction and waste education activities.
